How to Enable Developer Mode on iPhone / iPad

Requirements:

• iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 or later

• Apple ID

• Optional: Mac if using Xcode

Steps:

1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad

2. Scroll down and tap Privacy & Security

3. Scroll down to Developer Mode

4. Tap the Developer Mode toggle to turn it on

5. A pop-up will appear explaining Developer Mode

6. Tap Restart to enable Developer Mode

7. Your device will reboot automatically

8. After reboot, unlock your device

9. A new prompt will appear asking “Turn on Developer Mode?”

10. Tap Turn On and enter your device passcode

11. Developer Mode is now enabled

Notes:

• Developer Mode allows installing apps via Xcode, AltStore, Sideloadly, or other enterprise apps

• Only enable it on devices you trust

• You can turn it off anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode
